Plans are in the works for a major celebratory event on Nov. 17 to commemorate the successful battle to save the Upper Las Virgenes Canyon Open Space Preserve (formerly Ahmanson Ranch).

Event chairs are Ventura County Supervisor Linda Parks and Save Open Space Chair Mary Weisbrock.

The celebration will take place at the Preserve – between 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Stay tuned for upcoming details as they are released from the Committee.
