Communities and Stakeholders Impacted by the Woolsey Fire — Upcoming Town Halls Critical to Recovery Efforts – Dec. 6, 13, 16
There are THREE critical upcoming Town Halls for all residents and property owners impacted by the Woolsey fire. Stakeholders should attend the Town Hall tomorrow in Agoura Hills which is focused as below; and then one of the two Los Angeles County Town Halls conducted by Supervisor Sheila Kuehl in Malibu and unincorporated county where the focus is debris removal and re-building. 1. Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. in Agoura Hills at the Agoura Hills Recreation and Event Center – 29900 Ladyface Ct., Agoura Hills
The City is hosting a Town Hall meeting that will provide information to the public (it is applicable to all residents impacted by the Woolsey fire, not just city residents) regarding post fire recovery issues, specifically how to prepare for the potential of debris and mud slides that may occur in the burn scar areas caused by the Woolsey Fire. The City will provide updates on preventative measures that are being taken for public land areas and provide information on how private property owners can prepare for the potential of debris and mud slides near them. Los Angeles County Public Works and other agencies will be present.
